ABOUT MIKE
When Michelle and I decided to put down roots, we chose Ward 2. We love it here, and I know its best days are ahead of us.
There's so much opportunity in this Ward: a livelier uptown, more local jobs, and homes that young families and seniors can afford.
It also brings real challenges: roads and stormwater systems are already strained, and poorly planned growth impacts the shape and feel of our community.
Getting this right starts by listening and being responsive. My first experience with local government was waiting two weeks to hear back from my Councillor. Unfortunately this has become common.
I've spent 15+ years building businesses, managing budgets, and leading teams through growth. I know how to seize an opportunity, plan for the risks, and deliver results.
Ward 2 deserves a Councillor you can actually reach, who pushes for a fair deal for your tax dollars, and who has a clear and realistic plan to make growth work.

Guaranteed 24-hour response time, monthly "office hours", and every vote explained in plain language. We won't always agree, but you'll always know where I stand on important issues.
A fair deal for taxpayers
Tourists use our waterfront and our services, and they should help pay for it, too. I'll push to expand non-resident paid parking, cap property tax increases at inflation, and keep the focus on the basics: roads maintained, snow cleared, calls answered.
Growth that works for Ward 2
Growth isn't coming, it's already here. That's why I'm backing a revitalized Uptown Keswick, safer residential streets through enhanced traffic calming measures, and faster approvals for the housing Ward 2 actually needs.
