About Mike
I grew up in Barrie, just across the lake. I moved to Toronto for school and built my career in the City before marrying my wife, Michelle, in 2019. When we decided to put down roots, we chose Ward 2.
Like a lot of residents, my first real experience with local government was reaching out to my Councillor, and then waiting. And waiting some more. My second and third messages went unanswered entirely.
Most of us have lived some version of this. A call that doesn't get returned and a concern that seems to go nowhere. That's what got me paying closer attention to Ward 2 in the first place, but it isn't where the story ends.
I've spent the last 15 years in consumer packaged goods, building brands, managing budgets, and leading teams across Canada and the US. That career taught me what real accountability looks like, and what it costs when it's missing.
Ward 2 deserves a Councillor who has real-world experience managing budgets, navigating competing interests, and owning results.
I'm running to be that Councillor. It's the Fresh Start Ward 2 needs.
