About Mike
I grew up in Barrie, just across the lake. I moved to Toronto for school and built my career in the City before marrying my wife, Michelle, in 2019. When we decided to put down roots, we chose Ward 2.
It didn't take long for me to reach out to my local Councillor. Two weeks passed before I heard back, and only then after sending a reminder. A second request went entirely unanswered.
I quickly learned this wasn't a unique experience. In fact, it's what people have grown to expect.
I've spent the last 15 years in consumer packaged goods, building brands, managing budgets, and leading teams across Canada and the US. That career taught me what real accountability looks like, and what it costs when it's missing.
